We are a group of people who care about learning as a lived experience, not an abstraction. We have watched students study for hours and feel no closer to understanding. We have watched parents invest their savings in preparation, only to watch their children struggle on exam day. So we asked ourselves a simple question: why is this still so hard?
PrepHooks is our answer. It is a system that pays attention to how a student performs, shows them precisely where to work, and guides their progress with honesty and clarity.
We are not educators who built a product. We are product people who built a learning system. That distinction shapes everything we do.
We started PrepHooks because we noticed something troubling.
For decades, exam preparation has changed its tools without changing its approach. Printed past questions became digital question banks. Question banks became apps. But the student is still handed a mountain of content and left to work out, alone, what to study, when to study it, and whether they are making progress.
Meanwhile, the world around that student changed completely. Attention itself became contested ground — fragmented, pulled in a dozen directions. The preparation system never moved to meet it.
We started PrepHooks because we believed there was a better way. Not a more complicated way. A more human way.
The more we looked, the more we saw a pattern.
Students were not failing because they lacked access to content. Past questions have existed for decades. Content was never the problem.
